not sure where that information came from but the amp is more than capable of running 2 ohm speakers. if you're referring to the PN4.520D it will run 2 speakers without issue.
It runs them just fine. If i'm correct, you just can't run 4ohm speakers on 2ohm amps.
You have it backwards. You can run 4 ohm speakers on a 2 ohm capable amp, but you can't run 2 ohm speakers on a 4 ohm amp. You can always go to a larger number on the speakers than the amp.

I must have mis interpreted the specs on the amp. I though I read if your only using 2 channels it needs to be 4 ohm, if your running 4 channels it can be 2ohm? Either way, thanks for the info that's the answer I was hoping to hear. I think I will go with th 4.520d rather than the pbr.

I know I sound like a broken record, but I feel I have to warn people about losing all FM and WB signal with the Soundstream amps. Other than that, it's a great little amp with plenty of power.
this is the case if you're going to bridge the amp which means combining both rear channels into left and then combining both front channels into right. I HIGHLY suggest you don't do this.

I still sometimes say "sounds like a broken record" then I look at the young folks listening and wonder does everyone know what a record is? Am I dated? LOL
