Default radio back light

i think i'm going nuts ! i would swear when i pulled into my garage today my radio back light dimmed. i don't know if they do this or not, but i swear i seen it. it was real bright outside and when i pulled in it seemed to dim. anybody? i guess i'm gonna have to get off the whiskey for a while.

If it's an HK unit, then yes, it dimmed.
There is a photo-sensor behind the LCD that adjusts the backlight intensity based on the ambient outside light.

I have to say I agree, I think I have seen this happen through the corner of my eyes also when pulling into a darker garage..always thought it was just me.

man, it's good to know i'm not losing my mind ! didn't know they did this. do they mention this in the owners manual?
