Just installed 2 sets of Polk MM651's and 2 PBR300x2's in my '10 Electra glide Ultra... I've read mixed on AVC settings.. any issues w/ using AVC with this setup?
Thanks in advance.. and thanks to those that helped w/ install / tuning.. very happy w/ system!
The purpose of AVC is to lower the volume at red lights. If you have the volume cranked when you start out AVC can raise it to speaker shattering levels when at speed, so be careful. I had mine set to 3 bars when I used my stock head unit and I never had a problem, set the volume at speed and it will lower it as you slow down, very handy.
Thx.. yep, I use it often.. that's exactly what I do (set at speed) ..thx for reply
