I recently installed a set of Infinity Kappa 62.11i in the front fairing and a Rockord Fosgate PBR300x2 amp on my 2014 SGS. When im riding down the road and have the volume turned up around 3/4 of the way it starts cutting out on me.
I'm wondering if my Gain and frequency is not set up right on my amp?
Where do you have the crossover set on it now? I messed with mine quite a bit and ended up with it set to AP & the crossover at 70 ish HZ. I also found turning the bass & treble way down on the headunit made some difference. Oh, and be sure the AVC is off.

If you have it set to AP (All Pass), you are disabling the use of the frequency setting, hence the "all" pass. You need to have it in HP (High Pass) and then set the dial where you want all frequencies "higher" than the setting to pass. My guess is you have the treble and bass all the way down because your HU is not flashed or you're not using a line leveler. It would probably sound better with an LL.
AVC Off is a good point. That could drive your input voltage to clipping.
Yes I do have the DSP line level from cycle sounds installed. I have bass turned way down on the head unit, I have the it set at all pass "AP" My Gain is currently set at 7 to 8 I would say, it still cut out at 1/2 volume just not as much.
Thanks for the feedback I will crank it down a little more and try that
The peak on those speakers is 225W with a 75W RMS. If you are running the Fosgate at 7 or 8 on those 2 Ohm speakers and it has an RMS of 150W then you are pushing 120W RMS through 75W RMS speakers. Take Gannicus's advice and turn the gain on the amp down to 5 before you blow them out. That 300W rating on the amp is the combined RMS rating, not the peak power.
