sometime over weekend.. the light went out on stock stereo on 08 road glide.
cant see radio or clock at night

More common on the 06, but not too uncommon on the Road glides.
The location and angle of the radio makes them a bit more susceptible to liquid damage.
If the radio is repaired, be sure additional liquid damage protection is added to the faceplate PCB.
We do that as part of all our repairs.

There are 41 LEDs that supply the backlight. They all didn't go bad at once, so the cause will need to be found, repaired, and as mentioned before, additional liquid damage protection should be installed
ICA does great work. Pull the radio, send to them, they'll fix it and get it right back to you. I pulled mine and a buddy's on a Sunday, shipped it fedex Mon morning, they got it Tuesday and shipped it back to me for Wednesday.. just in time to leave for a trip. Couldn't be happier with their work and customer service!

well the screen went totally blank....took to dealer....they reset few things..it worked for a few minutes twice....LOL
under extended warranty...the service mgr told the counter guy to order me a new radio...called the other day to say radio was in...so i drop it off tomorrow...
