Has anyone installed a tweeter pod that also has a zumo mounted to the fairing using the Harley GPS mount? Can't be sure but it doesn't look like it would fit.

 

Just went through this...It will not fit...I ordered the parts to retro fit the CVO dash pad that allows the GPS mount...and swapped speakers to Biketronics 7.1's.

 

Well I guess thats out of the question... Im not looking to spend all that just for tweeters... maybe I will look at the JM audio speakers with the tweeters built into the grill

 

What fairing speakers are you running now, and why do you think you need additional tweeters ??

 

Total stock system as of right now... I have a chance to pick up a complete hog tunes system with 2 amps 6 speakers lower fairing speaker housings and the tweeter pod cheap from a friend who just got a 14 CVO and no longer needs it. If the tweeter pod won't work I may sell the hog tunes system and build a system myself, keeping the stock head unit since I do use the intercom and CB on a regular basis

 

How much is cheap ?? It would have to be REAL cheap !!

 

300.00 for everything retail is almost a grand he only had it for 4 months before winter set in and ended up trading his bike
