I changed out the BT 7.1 Titan II's in the fairing with the new BT 7.1 Pro Line series speakers and all I can say is WOW!!!.
I loved the Titan II's but these new Pro Lines are amazing. I know wow is not much of a technical term but that's all I got.
The Pioneer's in the lids used to over power the Titans in the fairing but that no longer holds true with these new 7.1's. If anyone is considering these I would highly recommend them. IMO, well worth the cost.
Great to hear this!! Ordering the Pro's along with the 2180. I just need to make up my mind on which HU. I just need to pull the trigger as I have been researching HU's for a couple weeks now and I seem to be overwhelming myself with choices and decisions! LOL. Leaning towards the Sony DSX-S310BTX...
i had the DSX-S310BTX on my bike but had to switch back to the stock head unit after it crapped out. guess i ride thru too much rain...smh. The rain cover that biketronics sent me with the radio flew off on the first ride...smh

We've heard that before - maybe time to buy good quality electrical tape and tape the cover onto the inner fairing... just an idea (and tape does not leave any marks (not on my painted inner fairing). is it pretty? NO, but it might help...

What are you feeding them with and what is the difference in sound?
Using the Soundstream PN4.520 to power the 7.1's in the fairing and the Pioneer TS-D6902R's in the HT lids.
The overall sound quality and clarity is amazing. The lows really thump and the mids are crystal clear. I was blown away listening to the Black Keys and Van Halen but really was impressed with the clarity of the background drums in a Coverdale/Page song that came on as I was cruisng on the freeway at 80.

which coverdale/page song?
Almost identical setup (swap the 7.1's with MM's) and cannot agree more - LOUD, THUMPS and CLEAR. only wish I could push more Watts to the Pioneers... think they could use even more... now running +4 to the rear via fader.
best investment I've made in addition to the audio itself. well I like the moisture covers too that I bought from CS for the lids when parked in the rain.
