Default Stereo Replacement Question

This might be a dumb question, but I'm looking to replace my stereo. Do most of you purchase a "Marine grade" unit? I am concerned a normal one will get destroyed after a few washing's of the bike.

Thanks ahead

Bill

Default Radio

I purchased a Sony DSX-S310BTX which is not water proof. I considered a marine model but it lacked certain features that I was looking for. So in addition to the radio I bought a Biketronics Splash Cover for the radio. Looks real slick but expensive. There are others not so expensive but I happen to like the style of this one. Do your research and make your choice based on your particular needs. Good luck.
