how good are the hogtunes big ulter kit? how much better than stock is it.
Better than stock. . . But you can do better than hog tunes for the money. A sound stream 520.D amp and 4 Polk MM651's or 4 infinity 62.11i's will totally blow that system away. Both systems for about 450.00.
Hog Tunes and the like, prey on folks that are too afraid to NOT have a 'plug & play' system.....do a little research, and your reward will be 10 fold !!
Personally, I've gone through several systems.
The only system which I believe is great is the Biketronics system.
I do have the Hogtune tweeters installed and they really don't do anything.
Personally, I wouldn't put any Hogtune crap system on my bike.
Go with Biketronics and you won't be disappointed.

I would agree kryingame. The BT7.1 & 4180 I installed on a stock HK head unit, I have enough Clean Volume & bass I can drown out the Wind and engine exhaust noise 80 mph if I want to. There is not many systems that can
I had the hogtunes speakers in the fairing. And to be Honest I like them but for 450 dollars I spent on the speakers, 70 watt rms per channel amp and tweeter pod. I could of used on the BT system I am sorry didn't.
But without others to hear, Most of Us stereo guys will go down this same path.
So if you can live with the mediocre, Low bass ouput hogtunes and it works for you Than I am glad you are happy. But if you Love good clean powerful sound. BT is More than a great choice I would say it's the Best All American Made Choice that is plug & play.
