Or drinking pumpkin beer lol... makes 2 for at a loss... especially with 2 bikes blowing same side speakers... just me... you running flat on balance on the head unit?
Not shure what you mean flat or balance??? I am running powerful eq 3 on bass and 5 on mid and 7 on highs . I just dont get all the settings. I am thinking it could be amp not shure. I have tryed everything. I am so lost .
Pioneer74 is simply trying to help you. Your issues are unique that's for sure.
Although I agree with Bill on the neck on 06 and up bikes being sufficient ground points (I've verified that) the rule of thumb is run your battery and ground back to the battery for best possible results and to mitigate issues. Why shortcut this step when you already have your tank off and are already running power wire back to the battery.
Equalization can be a HUGE factor here. As well as that stupid Loudness button on aftermarket head units. What head unit are you using? What is your audio source?
What's even more odd is it's only the right side. If it were just your bike doing this I would suspect a failure of audio equipment. But 2 bikes, assumingly and ironically enough installed in the same method and by the same person makes me think otherwise and more so towards the use and possibly unrealistic expectations of 2 speaker - 1 amp audio on a motorcycle.
The tweeters will make no difference whatsoever in load on the amp unless by chance a tweeter is shorting out.
I'm in no way saying anything negative about BT as you all know I'm probably their biggest fan and supporter; I know you guys are big on those BT amps and I agree they're good quality but I had one in here yesterday with a 2180 and 7.1 in the fairing. Sounded like **** IMO and no way to control that amp. I know what those speakers are capable of and IMO with this 2180, they are lacking performance. The PN2.350D sounds SO much better with the lower 6.5"s on the same bike.
So I found a guinea pig for the RF 400x4AD amp. I'll report back on my findings with this amp soon.

I am running a Kenwood kdc-x798 .I did not install my uncles system. He lives in NC . we do have the same system. I have to say with the BT amp I feel like its lacking power. Love the pro 7.1 speaker's. I moved the ground wire to the battery. I will have to wate until some time this week to get another speaker in from BT . ultra what amp do you recommend? Thank you all for your time and help on this. I am running a memory stick for my audio. The loud is off. Pioneer 74 I was not being rude at all just didn't know what changing the ground would do . Thanks man
Well tried just running the hog tunes tweeter pod and nothing else they are not working at all. I think its the tweeter pods if they blew I would think it could mess up the 7.1s not for sure but at least I have one more thing out of the way.
I had the same problem and it was the right RCA connector on the amp. Once I started my bike the right speaker stopped working. I would have to pul the batwing off and jiggle it around to make it work. I called BT and they sent me a new amp and it works great now.

It has taken me a bunch of time playing with the EQ to work around the fact the amp is not adjustable. There is a very fine line between this sounding fantastic and it sounding horrible. 3 weeks in I have it dialed in fairly well, but out of the box I wasn't floored by the system, which I think was due to lack of amp control.
Well just got off the phone with Bill.He is going to send me new speaker's and a amp. I talked with him for about 30 mins and we came to the conclusion that it could be my tweeter pods. So he told me a better way of running them. I still don't get all the eq settings but at least I have a start. I have to say its nice to work with a company that gives a dam about the customer. The tweeter pods he said to hook them up on the rear channel. That way you can tune them in better.
