there were four of us and we maxxed each day to about 600-700km. It worked out to about 5 days each way.

Do it, you won’t regret it. If you get out there, be sure to take time to ride the Kananaskis Trail

 

I shipped a bike to Calgary with jb hall for 500$ Then visited my son in Kananaskis and rode over to my old neighbourhood (white rock) and down thru ca and left my bike in Arizona

 

I did that ride backwards🤔
We took the Trans Canada all the way there, and then 'The Highline' Route 2 on the south side of border, all the way back. That boring description being said, I don't like planning a trip except for gear and money. I like to look at the sky and decide which way I'd like to go.
Of course you come to Calgary first. Edmonton is nicer in the winter 😁
