Don’t want to steal someone else’s thread, I’m not talking about ordering parts from Harley but from Fortnine. Please be aware that Fortnine did a great job in getting my seat to Canada Post, and there it sits.
I realize the pressures of working in a Covid-19 environment will create delays but why would they set an unrealistic delivery date in the first place? Customer Service is a joke, completely devoid of humans! All I want to know is, when can realistically expect my seat? Will it be days, weeks, months? I’m willing to wait, just tell me when (their tracking system is useless).
Does anyone know of a phone number at Canada Post that I can call and speak tp a human?
It's been hit and miss with Canada Post for me. Some things arrive right away, others I am still waiting. Fortnine orders have been taking a few extra weeks
last i heard Canada Post had turned off tracking for international packages . if Canadian Customs has to look at the package it's going to be slow , those guys aren't fast at the best of times .
things i've had shipped within Canada have been as fast as always , a week at most . from outside they've been slow , from the US i had an 8x11 envelope take 2 weeks . from Poland a package was tracked by the Polish postal system as leaving Poland on March 4th , it arrived with no advance notice on my porch on May 15th . it was a larger box so i'm not sure how it traveled across the ocean .
I ordered a battery and a starter clutch from Fortnine, came from Quebec to Alberta in 5 days. took them longer to process the order than it did for it to get here. ponderous...
Apparently Fortnine shipped my stuff on the 21st and it's in Canada Post limbo somewhere, they can't even bother to update their tracking. I sent some parts to the US at the beginning of the shamdemic and they arrived in a normal timeframe, one can only imagine the horor show going on at the post office with the management bozos trying to implement CV19 policies and the union screwing them over as they best know how, we will be lucky to see anything from the postal system for the next few years...
I've been debating on ordering a new Freedom windshield but with the border closed I can't get to my parcel pick up and don't want the hazzle of Canada Post and customs.

as i mentioned above , CP is not tracking at this time . sucks i know .
interesting though , i was sitting on the porch today (Sunday) and our mailman walked up the stairs and handed me some mail .
How about that. The dog made a bit of noise this morning(Sunday) and just dismissed it as growling at a cat or the neighbours. Turns out it was a delivery from Canada Post from Fortnine, shipped on May 21st, so the system is working, just slow. Now just got to mount a pair of tires so I can deal with getting raped by ICBC for a new sticker and insurance, same old rip off-but you get to be inconvenienced more and wait longer for the privilege due to the shamdemic.
