This is insane🤪 Got to be the wettest spring here (central Ontario) that I can remember. If its not raining, Im stuck mowing wet grass leaving no time for riding. 1,100 kms this year, maybe half of what I normally ride. Whats it like in your area of the planet?
Just spent 14 days in Florida. When I was on the bike it wasn't raining. When I had to work, inside, it was raining. So it worked out for me on that trip! Rode the 450 miles down and back dry. The nighttime ride down was nice. But it wasn't too hot in the daytime returning.
So far this year I only have about 5000 miles. But hitting peak season so the miles will roll up quickly now.
It been raining two days out of three for most of May. Not only that, but it's been cold and windy. Winds gusting up to 50 KM/H - 30 MPH day after day. Forecast for this Wednesday is rain and a high of 17C - 60F degrees.
It's really dampened a lot of weekend bike ride events.
Not been the beast in South West Manitoba either. It's been really cool and windy with rain days 2 or 3 days a week it seems. I still farm so any nice days we've been busy trying to get the crop in the ground. So only have about 950 km on so far this year.
Here in the this area of the US (OH, IN, KY and PA) we've had a series of storms roll through about twice a week. Very wet. I've got weird algae on the sidewalks out back. I think I've about had it with the weather picking on us, too.
Working tomorrow and then off for the next 6 days. Road trip.
Rain everywhere for the next week.
I dont mind a couple days of rain but I dont want to ride in it every damn day.
Have had storms, tornadoes, floods, hail, most rain in a spring I’ve seen here.Last tornado was about20 miles south, pretty bad lots of damage. The rest have been to the north, lots more damage flooding.Almost like someone looking out for us!
