Remove the muffler, hold it vertically and drop it on a piece of wood. I've had good luck doing that. It even worked on a slash cut tip.

I was trying to avoid the hassle of taking the muffler off but in this case it looks like I might have to. Thanks.

All my Family lives in norther NB and it takes forever. To get care. Now if you live in or near Toronto or major Urban centers it’s a different story. Ontario is a bit different than NB and other provinces.. I like to pay for my insurance and get instant care here. I’m staying in NC.

It might be easier if you take the muffler off , spray the both ends.

My 84-year-old mother still lives in Newfoundland by herself and every time I talk to her about doctor's visits or hospital visits I'm blown away by the lack of care they receive. They have to wait even longer than we do here in Ontario.

I'll think I'll go to the hardware store this morning to get the things I need to make the inserts ( even though I probably got enough stuff hanging around here in my garage and the basement to do the job, but it just means having to search for everything) and perhaps take the mufflers off to give it a try.

I used really thick grade 8 washers, I got a few different diameter sizes and internal hole size. With a good metal tab you can bend it in or out after it’s welded on and change the back pressure, sure it’s redneck a bit but … I grew up dirt floor poor and know how to Jerry rig some **** out of nothing.

I'm so you used a tab instead of the thunder torque insert threaded Bolt and nut. What did you weld them to to keep them inside your muffler?

Thanks for the offer.
Few years ago I signed up for a Us address just across the border in Buffalo but I have never taken advantage and used it. For something large and high priced it might be worth my hour drive to do that but not for a small item. Even so I'm not sure how it works. I know I get the item sent to the address but I'm not sure what Customs would charge me coming across with the item once I declare it. Also they would obviously ask me when going across what my intended purpose was. I'd have to tell them I'm going across to pick something up at the US address therefore......

To the end of the baffle, enlarge the picture of mine in post #2

Sorry I thought you used the Torque inserts instead of the baffles but in fact you still have the baffle in place and the torque insert welded to the baffle.

You could use a round tab instead of a washer and mount it further in or out. Just fab the mounting tab differently.
