Default Thunder torque inserts

Any idea where within Canada I can get these exhaust inserts so I don't have to pay an arm and leg for shipping ,tax and customs and brokerage fees?

Just make your own or if you know a friend with a welder have them help. It’s pretty simple . Heavy duty washer and a small metal tab.

The concept defiantly works to break up reversion. I spent a lot of time with bolts, washers and large thumb screws comparing their effect at the drag strip and it was fairly hard to be sure what worked best between them.. the real advantage was to have one of the three in place.. with that said, I do believe in this scenario a dyno would quantify what works “best” even if it only shines in a particular rpm range or in a very small measure between the three concepts.

With all that said.. I don’t take that as any will do. No, I look at it as I don’t have days and days to spend with a dyno researching.. don’t wanna make 200 passes on a dyno wearing a motor out to FIND what solution makes that extra 1/10 hp between the three or brings the greatest yield in what rpm range. BUT you know who did do all that work.. spent all that time and ware and tare to find that answer….? DK Customs. Thats why their solution while affordable does have some cost to it compared to the hardware store bolts or thumb screws… they spent their investment so I don’t have to. If it gives me a 1/10 advantage for an extra $20… I gladly take it.

As @Rains2much said above, the tried n True products like the DK thunder torque inserts are the real deal. The reason I made my own was to get rid of the droning sound on the highway. It gave me a bit more in my A$$ dyno and I felt like I had killed 2 birds with 1 stone.

I'm definitely down to make my own. I have a welder . The trouble I'm having now is getting the baffles out from these pipes. I just finished welding a puller out of junk pieces I had laying around in the garage. But when I put the hook in the baffle there's really nothing for it to catch on , the ripples in the baffle are going the opposite direction. So what's the secret?

If it were only $20 I'd jump at the opportunity. Unfortunately I live in Canada where everything is expensive to get it here. By the time all is said and done it will cost me about $120 Canadian funds. It really ticks me off that when I add it to the cart at DK customs it comes to $55 for 2, but when I go to check out it cost me about $120 Canadian.

How do you think they pay for free health care? In your instance maybe the hardware store to get you 90% there?

Maybe get someone from US to buy them and ship them to you.. I would do it for you but you got to pay and do the research.

It’s a bitch to get out, soak it overnight with some PB blaster. Be patient.

They tout our health care system but in reality it sucks. Wait times to have anything done takes forever and and we pay through the nose on our paychecks for the healthcare that we do have. People are forced to leave the country and go to the US to pay to have things done rather than put up with the long wait times here. It's ridiculous.
