I went around the entire Ontario boarder last year. Had to break it up into two trips due to commitments.

Tried my best to hug the coastlines and borders which ment in Southern Ontario residential areas and 40kph. Driving through the GTA was frustrating but I stuck with it. Cottage area were a pleasure to see.

Wanted to spend more time exploring the dead end roads found between Atikokan and Dryden but no time. Perhaps this summer I will.

Definitely can’t afford going into the US with our weak dollar. Been a few years since I travelled around QC
🤷‍♂️

@Candubrain - Well, The CAD sucks for sure, but I'm "in for a penny" now...

I planned a big birthday ride this summer with two of my riding buddies. It was supposed to be an insane IBA based ride, [SS5000] but it has changed and evolved into a more relaxed ride I guess. YEG to MKE is 1500 mi, so Buddy 1 and I are going after a BB, BBS, or BBG. Then a few days there seeing the museum [again] and drinkin' beer and having lots of laughs. Then we head to SD [12hr], and do some pre-rally for a half day, but whatever. Then we meet Buddy 2 in MT and eventually make it to LVNV. Gambling $100 is gambling $140...

Wives are supposed to meet there. Then we break and the wife and I head to a wedding on the coast. She is taking the little dog, so driving instead of riding...

This is all speculative as it seems like **** changes daily. I just want to ride FFS, and enjoy riding in the USA. I must be grumpy, it's winter still, even though a big melt is occurring.
Global warming is a lie: ask the snow / ice on my driveway.

im over the winter. i live in gravenhurst and im not sure if you heard but we went into 2 state of emergencies to gain federal help. 5 feet in 48 hours in the early december storm and two more massive storms after that. we've broken the record for all time snow in my town with a total of 18' so far with more on the way. countless structures have come down, roof trusses in houses physically breaking, eavestroughs are in shambles, and a good portion of houses are having roof issues now with leaking.

im done with winter. i hate snow so much i wont even take up snowmobiling. bikes and summer for life lol
