I finally decided to build my bike, but I have few questions.
I want to put a modern engine in. Any suggestions, or advice

If you really want a 40's bike with a new engine there are kit bikes that use an ss motor basically an Evo dressed out as a pan can't remember the name of the particular co. But an Internet search should find it.
