Triumph, BSA, and Sporties. are just fun bikes to ride. And the exhaust note of the british twin is pretty sweet.
Im just setting here and see ya all commenting on the trumpits sound. I putallot of work in my 70 Bonney, (long hard ride) while goin through a divorce. I had plenty of time on my hands, since she moved back to mama. But if u look closely on my trumpit. Triumph pipes stopped short, right where the hard tail attaches. In a garage sale I picked up 2 chrome table legs from an executive table on sale there. I pounded and welded short aftermarket sportster baffles inreducers, (short length pipes you get in auto parts store) and then poundedthat combo into the chrome table legs I bought. I clamped them onto triumph pipe ends and the tips of the pipes. where they are 1 into 2. Those tips are off a firebird. I was very limited on funds when I did all that. So I had to make everything outta what I had or could find in a junk yard. Even the rear tail lite is the bottom tail lite section of a 1978 Chrystler, but inverted. Im looking for pictures of a cross over network I made that allowed me to shift with my left foot, instead of the right. If I find it,... I'll post that as well. I needed to vent, thanks!
