I think it was last year when it came out that he was getting paid by the product companies to do reviews. Huge long thread on autopia and auto geek about it. He lost a lot of credibility with detailers, of course that isn't what his channel is shooting for.

To some it doesnt matter, doesnt matter to me I didn't care for his channel anyway. The accent killed me. He has reviewed a lot of products that I have used or am still using.

as well, I use different types of towels to do different things...I like big plush edgeless for washes, and have enough where when I wash, I never return a used towel into a wash or rinse bucket....i like my red trimmed chinchillas for doing a final polish on chrome, buffing out LSPs and toppers, and prepping clear coat
I was at Sam’s yesterday and bought a pack of the blue ones.
I never know there was way to grade them. I always buy whatever and never really paid any attention. But I’ve never been a detail kind of guy.
Up until about a year ago, my bikes on average only got washed about twice a year.
This is what it says on the Sam’s that I bought yesterday.

I thought that had been proven false? The accusation was he had stake in Avalon King I think.
