i have a denim blue o7 flhx. harley has a bunch of do not use soaps but no one can tell me what to use that wont damage my paint.

 

Try emailing Meguiars and asking them what to use on the denim paints. Harley D. and Meguiars work together on products. I think the address is

Stop worrying and just use a regular old car wash soap like I do. I have used these 2 car wash soaps from Meguiar's for over a year on my pewter denim Street Bob and it looks good as new.



Trust me, I wouldn't still be using them if they messed up the paint on my baby.

Some people also use dish soap as suggested by HD but then it also strips wax off the rest of the bike if you have any on it. I use wax on the polished aluminum on the bike and I don't want it stripped off so I say no to dish soap.
