Default Spit Shine technique

Just in case it hasn't been discussed here in a while, you can get better results from your wax if you use the spit shine technique. Some experimentation might be needed depending on your wax but the gist is, you somehow mix some quick detail spray with the wax during application and use QD spray again, if needed, during the buffing off.

Easiest to spit shine is Duragloss Aquawax (an awesome spray wax) paired with the Duragloss quick detail spray. Just spray equal amounts on the paint. You don't need much. First and second wipes are grabby but the third swipe will have your hand sliding off the paint.

Paste or liquid waxes like Souveran, I'd put some wax on QD-dampened applicator and spray the paint surface with QD.

Your wax seems to perform better and look much nicer when applied this way. Cheers.

something I learned is this. When using QD spray it on and use a cotton wash cloth to rub it around the area then use microfiber cloth to polish. Now if you polish to dry with the cotton cloth you are going to have swirls and feather scratches.
