Ditto on the bug wash. I use meguires spray wax but occasionally. Use wax too often and your finish might develop a haze. I'll wash and blow dry with the leaf blower and then just chamois the bike.
Hydrogen peroxide. Same stuff you use for first aid. Spray it on and watch it fizz for a bit then just spray it with water, most comes off just like that, no scrubbing. I took a spray head off of a indoor garden sprayer and it fit right on the H2O2 bottle. You have to keep H2O2 in the dark as light breaks it down to water and oxygen.
Take a small towel, soak it in your soapy, then set it on your faring and wash the rest of your bike. The soapy water will soften the the bugs and the will wash off easy.
there is always one smarty in the thread... I usually use turtle wax bug and tar spray and then maguires quick detail spray afterwards. unfortunately it is a daily task
I use Honda Cleaner and Polish or Lucas Speed Wax, since I seldom use soap and water to clean my bike (I use waterless car wash or detail spray). But for those who use soap and water, this stuff is absolutely the best:
My days of windex are done. Just bought my first bottle of Meguiars new Ultimate Wash & Wax. I'm glad I took a chance @ $18 a bottle, I wasn't sure.
Smells great, wets and loosens dried dead bugs, safe on windshield, and leaves a nice wax feel and shine. Able to wash 3 or 4 cars per bottle. You do need a few microfiber rags to do it right.
I use it for touch up before a ride, and to clean after a ride. I only Soap & Water washed twice this season.

+1 on this. Didn't believe it until I tried it myself. Now I tell everyone I come across who rides.
