Looked at a used Dyna today, and noticed flex in the bars. You could basically move the bars about an inch in either direction against the steering lock. Like their is a rubber bushing somewhere. Is that normal?
Sorry if it's a stupid question, but I'm looking at my first HD purchase, so not a lot of experience...
Well since you couldn't tell if there was a bushing by looking at it, it seems reasonable that guys would try to help by posting a how to along with their answer.
Oh don't get me wrong, I appreciate the responses. Definitely. Just don't want to waste people's time once I got the answer. Probably not buying that bike though. Guy advertising with 7000 miles, when suddenly it has 15000 on the clock. "Had the speedo replaced because of condensation and they added 8000 miles by mistake" not sure I buy that

Give the seller credit for being both creative and an idiot. That's a very inventive excuse and if he finds someone to believe him he's halfway to a sale. But since mileage isn't really a huge component of a Harley's value he's that much more of a dumb a$$.
