HI, Anyone change out their tailight.Was wondering how big a hole is in the fender when the stock one comes out.Want somethinga little closer to the fender. Ride safe!

hole is about 2 1/2x 3 1/2.........goodluck on finding that fits thats flush.....LOLIFE............

Thanks for the Info lolife. Once I start feeling better I will see what I can do.Just can't stand the big redlens back there.May have to chcek out the kuryaken one . Thanks again Ride safe

There are a number of replacement tail lights that will phit the stock mounting, and give a lower profile. You can even get a smoked lense that will get rid of the red on the back.

I put a Kuryahkyn smoked laydown Panacea LED on. Less of a profile then stock, not red, and it just plugs right into the stock phitting.


Oh, it's not the one in the signature pic.

 

I would say find a trashed fender on e-bay and make a template from the hole and cut the size piece you need that can be either welded on or used as a backer plate. other than that options are slim.
