For all Wide Glide owners - if you don't have one - GET ONE! I bought mine more than a month ago, hung it in the closet and forgot I had it. I wore it today to see if it is even close to what it is supposed to be. It's outstanding! My friends have kidded me since I bought it (really, think about it. "Let me grab my Jack Flap vest and I'll be right with you.")
But, now that I've worn it I don't care. This thing really works.
Yes, but it doesn't come close to blocking the air like the vest. The vest is high quality leather, looks good and works. I don't know the people who invented it, but congratulations to them.
Hey ad2; I invented it but only so I could stop that damn updraft behind the windshield on my wide glide. I'll take those congrats, I haven't had many of those lately. Tell all your friends please as I am about to go into the toilet and this is about the only possibility of a way out. I have been out of work now over a year and the V.A. sends me a whopping $108.00 to live on so things are, to say the least, TIGHT---jack
Okay, fellow wide glide owners, order this vest and you'll be saying thank you every time you take your bike out. Also, I wore it on a Sportster and found it worked great there, too.
The aerovest is better than they advertise. Don't let them go out of business before you get your hands on one.
Now, for another endorsement. The glasses advertised on this site are also excellent. Only $15 and they work great. I think I saw them in a banner as The World's Greatest MC Glasses. I don't know about world's greatest, but they're pretty durn good.
Get the vest, get the glasses - support the vendors that support this forum.
Hey dragsta; nice looking bike. That small windshield is a good candidate for the Aerovest. Take you left arm and put it across your chest at 60 and see how much the turbulence around your face is reduced, if you like what your arm does then the vest would work good for you, it cuts facial wind turbulence by up to 70% on this kind of winshield set-up, no B.S. cheers----jack
I'm having a short video injected into my website next week so folks can see the "AeroVest" in action and hopefully convince the skeptics that it really is a good thing and that it does NOT detract from appearances---jack
