Last night, I installed Wild1 T bars on my new FXDL. While doing it, I had the bright idea of replacing the six month old factory handlebar bushings with Arlen Ness Polyurethane bushings. First ride today and my mirrors are buzzing something awful. Pretty much useless now for seeing the type of vehicle behind me. Granted, I only have about 800 miles on the motor, so maybe it'll smooth out a bit. But I doubt that. The vibes seem perfectly normal, nothing excessive. Oddly, I had the same bars on my old FXD with poly bushings, but I don't remember have this issue.
I may try putting the factory bushings back, as a test.
I have the same bushings from Ness on my RSD king apes. No vibrations, rock solid. Maybe try torquing them again. I had to tighten them back up after a few rides.
I put new poly bushings in when I put on my carlini drag bars. I noticed reduced vibration compared to the stock risers, bars, bushings. I got the poly bushings from carlini as well. I torqued to 45 ft lbs although I don't see that being your issue.
It's hard to tell from your picture but something looks off with the mirrors themselves... Are they the same ones that were on it and are the mirrors touching the stems? I don't know what it is, but something doesn't look right. You may have increased vibes with more rigid bars and poly bushings but it's not gonna be that bad. Are the controls and mirrors tight? Just be careful it's easy to snap the stem off the mirror
Also were those stock bars internally wired til the risers?

Yeah, same mirrors. I do use the Kuryakyn extenders, but they were on before the new bars. I dodnt touch the mirrors, just unbolted and reinstalled the brackets. Everything is torqued to spec. The original low rider bars were internally wired, yes.
