Has anyone changed out the wheels to laced or removed the bags on their Switchback to resemble a '70's bagger? I would like to see pix and see what parts were required

 

There are some nice examples in the FL Dyna interest group, a few are switchbacks but some of the folks have FL'd out their street bobs and super glides. I've adapted 16 inch softail deluxe wheels to my street bob and used a Fat Bob trees, Switchback rear fender, FL front fender, spotlights, changed out lots of wrinkle black for gloss, polished aluminum and chrome, etc. The thing I like about the switchback is that it comes with the FL nacelle front end, 2-1 exhaust and all the shinny stuff--just needs laced wheels and seat of choice. Bags kinda remind me of the older FL bags anyway.

These examples may reflect more of a 60's vibe but with some 70's style bags I think it could pull off what your looking for.
