Help with FXDF mod please
Hi everyone, I could use your guys help. I saw this online, and I loved the idea of it:

I have a 2011 FXDF (fatbob), according to everything that I have read this DOES NOT FIT my bike, but if i was to take the "detachable / quick release sides from my old sissy bar/ luggage rack could I drill a whole and modify them in-order to attach the multi purpose ones?
anyone have an opinion or help? you guys think it would be worth the trouble?

You "may" be able to make it work. I'm not sure what kind of hinges they are using at the attachment/pivot point. It seems like when you have it vertical it would want to just push right back over at the attachment point. Must be some unique locking mechanism. Like I said, you "may" be able to make it work but it would take some creative engineering to get right. Let us know if you get it and what you do to make it work properly.
Maybe you can ask Kuryakan tech support if and why it won't work and get a better idea what you would need to modify to make it work.
