Just ordered a set of Black Magnum 5 rims and Pirelli Night Dragon tires, and I was wondering what kind of pressures those of you , who are running them, are using.

 

I had the Night Dragons on my '03 Wide Glide, I experimented with different pressures and found for me riding always solo that running a 90/90H-21 front and 150/80H-16 rear that 39psi front and 41psi rear worked out very well. They're more a performance tire and I got just over 5k miles on them before I needed to change them out...

 

i ran them at 42psi rear and 34psi front, got around 13,000km out of a rear and just shy of 18,000km on front

Thank you for your replies. I did know that they were a softer tire, and wouldn't last as long, as other tires, but my main reason for going with the Night Dragons, is that they don't follow the grooves in milled/grinded roads. With construction season in full swing, a lot of our roads have been milled.
