Well after waiting two weeks from placing my order I just rode home on my new SB. Vivid Black with forward controls, rear pillion and pegs.
Wow what a feeling!
Hey congrats on the Bob, I have only had mine a few weeks and love it..
Just a heads up about the pillion. I had mine installed by the dealer complete with the rubber mounts on the fender (not cool) I took the wife out for a 20min ride...first passenger..when I took the pass. seat off six or so scratches on the right side of the fender and about four on the other. When I looked at the pillion the black of staples had worn to silver as well. I took it in to the dealer and the hired help assured me that shouldn't have happened. However the co-owner service side said that Harley won't do anything about it because that is normal for those seats he compared to a two up seat wearing paint. He said he'd fix it as a favour. I asked why would anyone put that on if it scratches...thats the point to remove it for the solo look. Anyway I am going to try and return it...not likely...I will probably just buy the Mustang system.
Other than that its great...just check the staples to see if the stick out or anything..
great choice, i love my vivid black as well, i went with the highway pegs and shift with my heel its just about as good as forwards but gives me another option to put my feet on long rides
