Default Air Intake Replacement Help

I am replacing the stock intake with a SE Ventilator. Seems pretty straightforward except for one thing. When I removed the stock teardrop intake there is a connector hooked up to the backplate. When I look inside the socket on the backplate it doesn't look like the connector actually hooks into anything. The SE doesn't have this socket on it's backplate. Do I just leave this connector hangin' where it is?

Yep, thats for the international models. Zip tie it up and tuck it away. Good to go!
