Security systems/TSSM
Hey guys. I got a question trying to figure out if my local Harley dealership is trying to bend me over. If you somehow lose your key fobs and your security code for the bike, is there a way the dealership service department can back-door the system and retrieve the code? My dealership said no and I'm having to purchase a new TSSM for my bike. Thanks in advance for any help.

dont take your bike back there for anything. order some new fobs on ebay and get your bike to another dealer to have them pair fobs and your pin reset. dealer techs are arrogant sometimes and often outright wrong. most people just don't question what's being said by them.
happened to me on my sporty. "oh you have to buy a new tssm, can't be.." stfu! went home and installed/activated it myself. pin started it for a few days then took it back to have them pair the fobs since we can't do it (that i know of)

had no pin. follow the link. i'm not talking out of my "". section 5-14 in the 2013 dyna diagnostics manual. all the dealer had to do was hook it to the digital tech tablet and reset the pin.
did you run through the usual pin suspects? 11111 or last 5 of your vin subbing "zeros "for "ones"?
