I'm gonna be getting a Bobber in a couple days and I'm looking for a few answers to some simple questions.
Some people have complained about low lean angles on the Dynas, with pipes and pegs dragging on the asphalt. Are there pipes that don't drag? I personally like the look of the V&H Big Radius 2into1 pipes (as well as the performance benefits of 2into1). I asked about them in a different post, but no one has replied. Here's a pic:
Questions:
1. Has anyone tried these, and do they like them?
2. Will they prevent pipe dragging since they appear to sit higher?
3. Will I still be able to get a set of passenger pegs on the bike with these pipes installed?
My SE-II slip-ons would scrape with minimal leaning; especially riding two-up. I installed Side Shots. There is no passenger peg interference whatsoever and if these babies scrape during sa turn, I have bigger problems to worry about.[8D]
Thanks for the input guys! Much appreciated. I've been eyeballing those pipes for some time now, and never even realized that they weren't out yet!

Congrats on the new bike!
Thanks! But I haven't quite got it yet. Hopefully I'll be able to get it this weekend. I've been wanting a Harley for around 15 years. I own Harley everything.... from coffee mugs, to Franklin Mint replicas, drink coasters, wall thermometer, HD stock, you name it. It's about time I actually get a bike.

That's funny right there
If you already have all that stuff - I can't even imagine how much cake you're gonna spend at the parts counter once you get the bike . It's fun but addicting.
As others have stated - not sure I could ever scrape those pipes - maybe I don't ride very hard after all?

It's actualy quite rediculous. Even my dog has a Harley collar. No joke. I'd say that my most rediculous piece of shwag is an HD letter-opener, closely followed by HD Christmas tree ornaments (including a motorized engine replica), and then a ceramic HD V-Twin cookie jar. That's just sad.
My family has always known of my HD fanhood, so I've recieved most of my shwag as gifts over the years.
