I ride a Dyna because I like riding motorcycles. Baggers with huge fairings, heated seats, stereos, etc make me feel like im in my car!

Good answers so far,
I like the quicker more nimble comments because it's true, higher lean angle and it doesn't have all that fairing weight up front to carry around the corners.
I've come to love my Dyna because it's not " a 2014 Street Glide just like every other person around here"

I have a love & hate thing going on with my Dyna. Some days I'll go out and have the best ride. Some days I'll go out and turn around and put it back in the garage. Like others have said it's pretty much a blank canvas. I also like the club look and most likely will head that direction. I've only swapped the bars and gutted the pipes installing TTI's from DK. I had a heritage before the SB and I do miss the comfort I had, but the Dyna has the get up and scoot when I need it. The site is a wealth of information and I'm constantly taking ideas and tweaking them to suit my needs. Good luck

Works great for everything, from bar hopping to touring. **** ton of options for suspension, brakes, etc.

Why a Dyna? Because it's a good all-around motorcycle. Add some detachable bags & go on a trip or even shopping. If you buy a Dyna I believe you will find it is the most versatile motorcycle in Harley's line up.

After owning three Electra Glides, and last summer a 2008 Street Glide, I just traded the Street Glide for a new Low Rider............Something about Dynas keeps pulling me back to them. Whatever it was, I just wanted a "motorcycle" again. The Street Glide was overkill for my needs. I agree with this post.

Too much junk on baggers. If you need a windshield, CD player, GPS, radio, cruise control, bags, tour pack, fairing, etc. just get yourself a small convertible.

Sorry for adding a third post to this thread but I had a thought.
Don't be so quick to discount the Switchback as I did. I came from a Road King Custom and wanted a change. It's been three years of ownership of my Superglide Custom and I wish I had the larger removeable windshield, removeable hard bags and the floorboards that come standard on a Switchback. Lots of options to "make it yours" as can be seen on this forum. Some great deals out there on used ones also. Wish someone had gotten my ear three years ago.
Just a thought....

The Superglide Sport is my first bike. Besides being the first bike, I liked that it is very basic. Just the frame, two wheels, engine, and some random wires...

I love Dynas, but you're describing the new Sportster Roadster.
