Default muffler compatibility

Hello dyna comrades~
I got a muffler question.

I ride 1998 evo dyna and now want to install genuine mufflers with baffles.
I already have stock head pipes.

A shop guy says 1991-2005 dyna mufflers are interchageable
This is correct imformation?
What about bracket?

Thank you for answer in advance.

You want the stock mufflers?
I have a set from my 1995 Superglide. It was a California bike, so it has the catalytic convertors within the mufflers. Want 'em? I have the whole stock system on a shelf.

You could put damn near any Dyna muffler (from a similar style system aka no Fat Bob mufflers) on it. I have late 90's mufflers on my 2006, they are shorter than the 06 and newer mufflers but they work just fine using the 06 brackets.
