I am seriously considering purchasing the HD Combination Speedometer/Tachometer with the Black Face.
I was wondering if the new combo gauge has the digital clock built in like my factory 2007 Dyna Street Bob speedo does.
Can anyone elaborate?
Here is H-D's description from their site:
Maintain the clean view over the handlebar. This unique combination Speedometer/Tachometer allows you to monitor engine speed without adding a handlebar-mounted tach. The unit mounts in the stock dash opening, and is a direct plug-in installation on '99-later models. The backlit face aids night viewing, and the gauge features an easy-to-read LCD odometer/tripmeter. Mileage reinstatement is available through your Dealer.
Part #: 74549-07
MPH Calibrated
Fits '07 Dyna® FXDC, FXDWG, Softail®, and Road King® models.
Unless this is a new part, I'm pretty sure this doesn't fit a street bob. Itreplaces the really large speedo like on the widglide and 35th anniversary I think. I'm sure someone else will soon be able to confirm, but I wanted to shoot out a quick warning so you could make sure before spending the substantial dough on that thing.
streetboob is right, the HD site lists it as fitting '07 Dyna Superglide Custom and WGlide models only in addition to Road Kings. Unless you're planning on swapping out a lot more than just the speedo, it won't be cheap, but I imagine it could be done.
