Default Fat Bob year differences

Looking for a new bike, considering used as well. I can't seem to find any actual facts of changes to a Dyna. I've come across things like the frame change making a big difference but I can't find any actual years or what to look for.

Anyone have any information? Especially curious on the Fat Bob, thanks.

Dyna frames changed in '06 and as far as I know have stayed the same. There have been changes in the electrical systems from serial bus to canbus but that's all I'm aware of. I don't know about anything specific to the Fat Bob, but I'm sure some of those owners will chime in.

I have a 2010' with 96 cu in motor. I'm sure this is the same as all previous years. I think the year later they added abs brakes (at least here in the uk).

2012 brought canbus electrical system.

2013 introduced 103 in motors

Finally 2014 there was a complete cosmetic re design, after which I think it's remained the same.

I have a '14 FXDF (103 motor) I bought used from a dealer over a year ago with 3700 miles, out the door for just under $12k. They were pushing me into a new '15 so I asked about the differences-one word, paint.

In '13 they changed the rear fender (a huge improvement in my opinion). The '16 has the High Output 103. That's pretty much it. I did a stage 1 with SE Ventilator, SE Pro tuner and Bassani Road Rage 2-1. Don't feel like I'm missing anything from the HO motor. I recently added Progressive 444s on the rear and Progressive fork springs-big improvement over the stock ride. Getting new tires Saturday morning, 8900 miles and they're needed.

2008-2010 I believe had mid controls as an option

2014 was the first year with the laser etched wheels and the stripe decal on the tank

On the european market 2013 is the only year with the old design and the bigger 103" engine.
