Default Bogs and backfires

I have a 05 Superglide fuelie that cranks and runs fine until about half throttle. If you are riding it and twist the grip its like you cut off switch and a little backfire, let off and goes back to running fine. Will do it sitting still too. Any ideas???

It acting up under load (riding)..., how about when stationary and you rev it

Sounds like a timing issue to me (the backfire and bogging)

First check the spark plugs and that will tell you if it's lean or rich...b.

Low fuel pressure. Could be plugged fuel filter or hole an internal line inside the tank. You can hear the fuel hissing out of the line if you pop the fuel cap and listen after the fuel pump stops running when the fuel level is low.

Mileage?

Had a buddy bring his 05 over and swapped everything I could. I had give up but was looking at throttle body and never thought about MAP sensor, I just disconnected it and fired it up and it went to the rev limiter fast!!! So if you run into one that wont take the fuel at half to full throttle check the MAP....
