Default BCM reprogramming

Today I got all of the parts ordered for a full fender conversion on my 2015 Street Bob. While I was at the dealer ordering some of the small parts I couldn't get online I asked the service writer about reprogramming the BCM to get the lights to work correctly. He didn't seem to knowledgeable and asked that I bring the reprogramming instructions provided by the tail light manufacturer. I'm not sure custom dynamics provides these kinds of instructions since they sell the light as a plug & play alternative to stock squareback lights. Does anyone here happen to know what settings need to be changed in the BCM using the digital tech 2? I know how I want it to work (like a new low rider), but they just didn't inspire a lot of confidence.

I have a full fender and CD integrated light on my 15 DB as well. I actually ran the light as is for about 4-6 weeks with no issues at all. I had the bike in for a warranty inspection about 2 weeks ago, and the programmed it for free. Just tell them to flash the BCM for low rider rear lighting.

Once you get it installed, you'll see it really doesn't need to be programmed.

Yeah, I was going to wait till I had it in for some other reason as well. It just didn't seem worth it to take it in for just BCM flash. By the way, your ride served as inspiration for me doing this. Hopefully I don't have to wait too long for the fender, but painted parts usually don't come quickly.

Did you order the fender new? If so, from where... If you don't mind me asking.

Awesome, it's cool to hear that my ride inspired! I was just out in the garage grabbing my keys out of my bags, and I realized that things are really slowing down as far as mods. Starting to look at cams, but probably not until 2017.

I look those tank badges... I can;t figure out what I want to do on the tank yet.

I ordered the fender new from surdyke. Price was $408.75. I suppose I could've waited for something to pop up in the classifieds or on eBay, but I didn't want to risk getting a scratched up fender with no recourse with the seller. I'm about there on mods also. The only thing I really have left are mag wheels and dual disc conversion. Maybe next year....

I ended up ordering from boardtracker, and got it exactly two weeks after I placed my order... Hopefully yours comes in soon. After I searched around for used fenders, I figured getting it brand new, and selling off my old one to offset the coast wast the best bet. All said and done, I think that mod was about $300 out of pocket. Post up some shots when you get yours on.

I just left my programming as is. With the HD LED tail, and the Ness dual circuit LED turns, it is a bright fuggin' stop signal! The turns interrupt just fine. I may or may not have it programmed.
