Louder Exhaust from 2 into 1 ?
I have a low rider 2015 with 2 into 1 rumble exhaust which is a very low rumble. If I drill a few holes in the baffle end will it increase volume and will it negatively affect performance ie,, idle etc.. ?? I want a quick fix cause I cant afford new exhaust right now.

OK, so you need back pressure to get the most performance from your bike. If you drill too many holes in the baffle, you will kill the low end torque. Well, what is the magic number of holes and size ? I don't have a clue what the answer is to that question. I do know that you would be better off not drilling holes, in my opinion, and just waiting till you can get a performance exhaust for the bike.
I had true duals on my Road Glide and stock mufflers, for a while. It had very little low end torque and ran very hot.
Hope this helps ya.

I've tried installing a Cycle Shack slip on and it wasn't much different, even with the baffle removed and a DK Thunder Torque installed. I'm not an expert by any means, but I think the main culprit behind the significant lack of noise is the cat in the header.
I love the low rumble of the stock pipes, but they are simply too quiet, especially in high volume, rush hour traffic.
