Hi
I just bought some 2016 FXDLS gold mag 5 spoke wheels and I want to swap them on to my 2006 streetbob.

I am wondering if anyone whos done this or has any ideas can offer some insight as to what is involved with this swap. I now that this is a 1" to 25mm axle swap.
I also know that the wheel uses a floating front rotor.

what will i need to purchase in order to install these wheels on my 2006 FXDBI?

As long as they both have 49mm forks you should be ok with the spacing. Just change the diameter of the spaces to work with the axle. I would double check that spacing just to be on the safe side, but at least this gives you an idea. The bearings should also match the for the diameter. Hope this helps.

 

yes, i have 49mm forks.
so I could run the 1in axle with a 1" wheel install kit?
the spacing and the bearings should all work out?

You shouldn't have any problems. FXDB has single disc and FXDLS has duel disc brakes.
