Default Back rest

Looking to get a bigger back rest for my '06 Dyna to replace the mini that came with it. Don't want a crazy big sissy bar, just a higher one that fits in the factory hardware. Can't find anything online. Any suggestions ?

I'm confused

You looking for a bigger back rest (pad) - or a (somewhat) taller sissy bar - or both

If sissy bar - define taller..., and do you want it in chrome.., or black

Looking for something bigger / taller with a bigger pad. You know, something more traditional maybe between a foot or two high with a nice backrest pad. Can't seem to find anything online.

Check this out from the forum classified. It is a steal and you can sell the luggage rack. Not sure of fitment as it is from a Switchback. Worth a look.
Good luck!

Both of these from the HD site "shop for your Bike". Sissy bar p/n 52754-04 and a good curved pad for the sissy bar is Smooth Bucket Pass. backrest pad p/n 51132-98. These are Harley parts designed to fit the square tube sissy bar side plates. I also installed the Sundowner seat when the wife and I rode long distances on the 02 FXD.
