New 07 Super Glide.
My new bike will be ready for pick up later this week, but a stage 1 upgrade is in mind. Does the following upgrade sound ok? Screamin eagle race fueler,Vance&Hines slip on mufflers and an S&S aircleaner. If it were a carby engine rejetting would be usually benecessary and inan EFI motor the race fueler would provide the ability todothis. Is my thinking ok or am Ion the wrong track?
You're on the right track. You need something to adjust the fuel curve.
I chose the SERT over the race fueler. The SERT allows you to change other parameters, like idles speed, ignition curve, and redline. You can also turn off the anti-knock feature that sometimes causes problems with aftermarket plugs and wires.
More money, but more capabilities.

Here's how it goes...stage 1 intake, remap FI, better scavenging pipes(always louder than stock!)good start....now how about a better, more comfortable seat, sundowner's are nice, ...sissy bar, rack?...more chrome...engine guards?...new grips...saddle bags?...more chrome...new handle bars...more power?A bike has a beginning, never an end...enjoy your new ride!
Two more sleeps till I pick it up. It's my only means of transport so I want to be easy to ride in all weather. ie rain, hail or shine.Just better breathing and a bit more fuel will do for starters.I only hope it serves me as well as my old sporty. Not many rides left on the old girl.
After three days and about 250 miles it is an excellent machine. After my riding my sporty to work Thursday morning and comming home on a new bike ithas been a pretty big step. It's got heaps of power, steers and handles heaps better than I expected and the brakes have got loads of feel and will really bite when you need it. Fuel econony is improving asbreaks in thoughit's bloody hard to resist the urge to give it a handfull because it really does take offwhen you want it to. Still make all kinds of Harley typefunny noises so you still know what your riding. The clutch is a bit vaugue and the throttle very sensitive though I am getting used to it. Bloody heavy to manouvere and I'm **** scared I'm I'm gonna drop the bloody thing, though surprisingly easy once it's moving.Seems very comfy at highway speeds, though sixth gear is hopelessunder about 60 mph.The fuel injection and engine management system seem's to work fine,a few minor pops and bangs whenyou back off or change down sometimes but nothing that bothers me greatly.Front suspension seems a bit soft and heavier oil may help, the rears are typical Harley oversprung and underdamped, and will be replaced.I have a few concerns I'd like looked at it's first sevice but overall it seems a very well put together and presented bike.
