I bought a genius and it won't fit the aluminum ring inside the bucket, but the 400 Harley light does?
But I just bought a replacement LED bulb and put it in. And I must say that it is nice and bright. Nice white light that illuminates the road nicely.
I think people would be surprised to learn that many of these lights, regardless of the rebranded name, are all churned out of the same 2-3 factories in China..........then sold for a crazy markup.
Looks like the unit I have, let us know what your thoughts are?
Finally got around to installing this last night. No way in hell it would fit, especially because it needed the giant canbus box to even turn on. Wasted my cash since it's past the date of being able to return it.
I'll post it up in the marketplace unless someone has a suggestion on making it fit.
I ended up buying the $50 wisamic Amazon headlight a couple months ago. I got it to fit in the stock bucket on my 15 Street Bob no problem. Also haven't had any problems at all with it.
I'm here to tell you that there seems to be no difference. The Harley one is shaped and looks exactly the same as the amazon version. My Harley one had a little bar and shield logo on the front. And that's the only difference.
half price sale, additional 10% off for your first order and free shipping.
When installing mine it was also a crazy tight fit that i did not like, so I cut the plugs off and crimped insulated Male/Female Sta-Kons on. It fit with a ton of room to spare then.
