Anyone had the 180mm rear tire conversion done on a pre 2006 model. I was told HD hasn't determined yet whether the conversion kit will work on models prior to this year.
The dealer where I am trying to buy a bike has the kit already done on the 06's along with the stage 1 for a price of $1000. I found the kit online for like $240 shipped for the wide tire kit through harley but wondered if the kit was nessary.
I dont think the rear fender will clear on my 2000 on the width of a 180. i would think with a little work and a different back fender it could be done easily.
