Default Commander II Tires

I have about 300 miles the most on these tires and I noticed a cut in the tire exposing the steel braids. Anyone ever had issues with these tires and had to deal with the warranty aspect? I bought these from JP Cycles.

do you have a road hazard warranty?? if not then I doubt anything will be done for you because you ran something over and that's not the tire manufacturers fault

No, I am kinda shock that there is very little tread in the middle before it hits the steel. The tire is currently at 8/32 and the cut is 2/32 deep.

These tyres are normally pretty hard, you must have run over a steel band in the road somewhere, I doubt they will change them, but for your own safety, I would change that tyre asap.

I have commander II on front and back with no issues. The photo looks like you may have run something over on the road. I don't mess with tires, I would replace it if it was me.
