ABS light staying on when riding. Any suggestions? 08 Dyna

 

Possible broken wire on the sensor, look to see if you get any error codes like this.

Here is the code: DTC: C1032
FAULT CONDITION: Front wheel speed sensor circuit open or shorted

 

Hello...I've had my '08 SuperG since new. It currently has about 82K miles. At about 50K, when jump-starting it, I inadvertently hooked cables wrong. Luckily, no real harm done. However, ever since, the ABS light stays on. My bike is not equipped with ABS. I had local shop check it out, and was told not to worry about it, that it means nothing.

 

Maybe the dealer can reconfigure the bcm for not having abs? At work (Chrysler tech) we can add or remove various vehicle options when a customer wants to add a factory accessory that wasn't on their vehicle from the factory. Like heated seats for example. Anyway it might be worth asking the dealer if they can do something like this. Either way a dtc would be helpful.
