Default Ness mirror install help

This is pretty embarrassing but for the life of me I cannot figure out how the hell to install these mirrors.

You cant spin the mirror because the stem comes in contact with the master cylinder. you cant spin the turn signal because of the wires.

what the hell am I missing here? any help is greatly appreciated

Using your photo as reference ... remove the nut where the turn signal was attached ... the mirror should pull straight up and off

Ok ... I understand now ... the fitting on top of the turn signal comes apart ... you can attach the upper part of the fitting to the bolt then attach the turn signal to the fitting ... just separate the two larger nuts on the turn signal

I really must be dense. I can unscrew that and then i have the turn signal, the fitting and the mirror. I still cant for the life of me figure out how this all screws in when I cant rotate the mirror and cant rotate the turn signal

you don't remove it from the signal ... unscrew the larger nuts where your fingers are in the photo ... that comes apart ... the top part of the fitting attaches to the bottom of the mirror ... the rest attaches to the signal ... then you screw them together ...
