Trying to replace standard front controls with extended reach controls front Kyuakyn. Problem is I cant get the mounting bolts on the existing mount plate to move. I know it's not a problem specific to this bike but looking here for ideas. Thx

 

I'm pretty sure they use loktite on those.
Try heating them up a propane torch or a good heat gun.

 

I stripped one of mine out. Then I broke an easy out off in it. Then I burnt up about 5 drill bits trying to drill out the easy out. Then I hacked at it with a dremel and removed piece by piece of the bolt head until I finally got it all. What an ordeal. I guess the morale of this story is to be careful and try all the tricks, heat, penetrating oil, etc, before you make the same mistake I did. Those bolts are recessed down in there so just be careful with the heat and don't burn your finish, but a little heat should help.
