I took my original crap emblems off for new '61-62 style chrome pieces. When I got them off I liked the look of no emblems so much I almost didn't install the new ones. But they were already bought so on they went. No regrets, but I do love the look of the tank sans emblems!

Mine have been off since week one they were either the first or second stock piece to go along with the "smog can" hanging off the front of the frame and the reflectors.I do however think they look cool with the old school FL emblems, as far as wanting people to know it's a real Harley cause I paid big money for itI could care less. If they can't tell it's a Harley without the tank badge they're a moron and don't matter anyway.
